Description
This very finely made french commode is decorated with marquetry in kingswood with geometric patterns. Commode has 4 drawers total with the top front drawer being a false drawer.Also on the front there is one thin map drawer and one full size bottom drawer. In the space behind the false drawer front are two drawers that open from the side and look like decoration. There is a rose pink and grey marble with white veining, beveled edge and serpentine shape. Drawers and body are made of oak. Gilt bronze ormolu depicts hooves and decorative pulls. Key is not present.
