Faux Finish

Faux finishing can be any number of finishes applied to walls and ceilings to create rich and creative textures to enhance any room.
Techniques include ragging, strike, marbling, color washing, faux wood, and more.
Trompe l’oeil – “Trick of the eye” The art of painting in a way that creates an illusion. Example- to paint flowers in a vase on the wall above a shelf in such a way as to give the viewer the impression that it is really a Vase on the shelf with flowers in it.

Plaster Relief- Plaster reliefs with missing pieces can be repaired by taking an impression and then casting a mould and replacing the missing piece.
