Description
French Eglomise Mirror with removable pediment. This mirror comes from the house of Jansen. The hand painted and silver gilded eglomise or reverse painting on glass. The painting represents Ivy leaves and stylized vines. The colors of the Ivy and Vines are in rich brown tones. The Frame is par close and is hand carved of wood and parcel gilt in an antique gold color. Mirror can be displayed with or without the pediment.
